Manual QA Engineer
We seek a Manual QA Engineer with 2- 3 years of experience to join our QA team. The
candidate would be responsible for ensuring the quality & functionality of our application through
meticulous regression testing and documentation Should have a strong understanding of QA
methodologies, Testing strategies and be capable of identifying and documenting bugs
effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
● Understand business requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and
well-structured test cases.
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
● Log defects clearly and track them through resolution using tools like JIRA or similar.
● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to
ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
● Execute test cases manually and validate features across different platforms (web,
mobile, desktop).
● Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.
● Identify opportunities for improving the QA process.
Required Skills:
● 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
● Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
● Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and systems.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
● Basic understanding of APIs and experience using tools like Postman for testing.
● Experience with test management tools like BrowserStack.
● QA automation experience.
