Position Overview: We are seeking a self-reliant and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join the MAP initiative. The QA Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless functionality of the creation of this platform, consolidating reporting tools and enhancing overall efficiency. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and Python, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of working independently to manage testing processes. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous testing, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct comprehensive testing of the MAP platform, including the integration of their current reporting tools like Audience Track, Audience Finder, Auto Analyzer, and Ad Portal.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate the accuracy, performance, and usability of the platform.
Write SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and validate the integrity of the user interface.
Utilize Python for testing automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, ensuring thorough coverage of testing scenarios.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with the MAP development and project teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment on testing objectives.
Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and communicate progress and issues effectively.
Engage in proactive communication to provide status updates, raise concerns, and offer solutions to potential roadblocks.
Process Management:
Independently manage testing activities, ensuring efficient and effective testing cycles throughout the development lifecycle.
Utilize TestRail for manual test case management and Jira for tracking and managing tickets.
Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, with a focus on testing complex platforms or systems.
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and data validation.
Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.
Familiarity with manual testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems like TestRail and Jira.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Previous experience in data analytics, multi-screen attribution, or digital marketing is a plus.
