Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
As a QA Analyst III in the Video Software team, you will be involved in the software development lifecycle in our fast-paced Agile development environment. You will work with other developers, our architect and other testers to collaboratively develop software solutions for Video products.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Be proactive early in the software development lifecycle
Work cross-functional; liaise with the wider technical team and customers
Design & execute tests based on requirements, design, functionality
Produce Test documentation including but not limited to Test Plans, Manual Test Scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management and Reporting
Use agile SCRUM boards (i.e. JIRA or similar) to track stories and raise tickets
Give feedback to the wider technical team
Identify defects early and ensure the quality of software
Your skills/experience:
8+ years’ experience working on software teams throughout the project lifecycle
Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated experience in software testing
Experience to work in agile software development teams incl. experience in agile tooling
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in creating and executing database queries to support testing, such as SQL
Experience of test automation would be desirable
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to diplomatically advocate within organizational levels
