Job Purpose
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives. This role involves planning and executing test strategies, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with Product and Development team members throughout the product lifecycle. While coding is not a core requirement, familiarity with technical products and an understanding of product workflows and system behavior are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance, ideally in a product-centric environment
Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to understand complex workflows and user behavior
Familiarity with defect tracking and test case management tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience with technical products
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Exposure to or interest in test automation tools or scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
Experience with performance, usability, or accessibility testing
Responsibilities
Review product requirements and specifications for clarity, completeness, and testability
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and automated/manual test scripts based on product specifications and user stories
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to write clear, testable acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure high-quality feature delivery through structured QA processes
Perform functional, usability, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web, mobile, or other platforms
Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
Conduct user scenario and edge-case testing to ensure real-world functionality and reliability
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
Support release readiness by validating features and conducting tests in staging and production environments
Provide input on potential risks, gaps, or improvements to QA processes and product features
Assist with test automation initiatives or tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
