Robert Half is partnering with a well-known brand with the asset management industry that is looking for hire Senior Quality Analyst with deep expertise manual application testing and desire to leverage automation skills (using Selenium) when appropriate. In a .Net/C# environment, this role is ideal for someone who has led execution of manual test cases across web, API, and backend systems, ensuring consistent quality across all application layers. This role if full time with full benefits and 3 days onsite in Santa Ana, CA, giving you the hybrid flexibility you need.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases across web, API, and backend systems to validate functionality, integrations, and data accuracy.
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform end‑to‑end testing to ensure features function correctly across all application layers.
- Validate API responses (Postman), data flows, and backend processing using appropriate tools and queries.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium in a .NET/C# environment.
- Support regression testing efforts prior to releases.
- Contribute to test documentation, test case maintenance, and quality best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience executing manual test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems (databases, business logic, data integrity).
- Experience validating data at the database level (SQL).
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium test automation.
- Experience testing applications developed in a .NET / C# environment.
- Knowledge of API testing concepts (REST, JSON, HTTP status codes).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly document defects and communicate testing results.
