Position Summary: As a QA Analyst, you'll develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and troubleshoot software issues. Whether you're just starting or have some experience, you'll play a vital role in improving our software products, from running scripts to developing your own as you progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Test system modifications ahead of implementation
- Create testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability
- Document defects using bug tracking systems and communicate findings to developers
- Analyze and document issues related to program function, output, and content
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track progress
- Maintain databases of known defects
- Plan and strategize testing schedules aligned with project timelines
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2-7+ years of experience as a QA Analyst, with a focus on automation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic understanding of QA automation tools and practices
- Familiarity with engineering science and technology applications
- Knowledge of development software such as JavaScript, SQL, etc.
