The Final Inspector Lead is responsible for utilizing several Gill Process Documents (GPS, GMS, GOS) in order to fulfill customer and AS9100 standards by managing a team of inspectors, overseeing operations by effectively communicating and delegating responsibilities to the final inspection team, managing workflow queues and backlogs, ensuring inspections are conducted promptly and methodically, and providing regular progress updates to management. Additionally, this role collaborates on quality-centric initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Control Management and assists engineers with intricate tasks.
Responsibilities:
Follow company policies.
Comprehend and ensure compliance with Quality documents (Dwg; GOS, GPS, GMS, GTP, GWI, Shop Work Orders, Etc.).
Perform product and system verifications using; inspection plans, inspection tools and measuring instruments to validate conformance with TGC and customer specifications.
Identify, segregate and document nonconforming products for disposition per GOS 8.3. Prepare sample specimens for testing.
Maintain Customer Tooling (CFT), Drawings; and inventory list as needed. Test Product and/or Raw material to customer and /or TGC specs.
Perform dimensional inspection using Enovia or Catia programs
Administer MRB activities (meetings, inventory, Reports and dispositions) as needed. File, Copy, Fax and Scanning.
Prioritize Work Orders, to include changing priorities when required. Communicate Overtime when required.
Troubleshoot technical issues when required.
Make decisions on technical issues as appropriate, when required. Give direction on testing failures.
Act as main Point Of Contact (POC) with outside agencies for the shift. Communicate and delegate responsibilities to the final inspection team. Manage workflow queues and backlogs.
Provide regular progress updates to management team.
Train Final Inspectors according to internal TGC specifications as needed

Required Qualifications:
Education beyond High school diploma or GED preferred; and 3 years’ experience in Quality.
Computer knowledge on word processing and spread sheets.
Language Skills: English
Ability to comfortably multitask with minimal supervision.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
Internal Applicant from within TGC:
High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in Quality Control functions and/or 3 years’ experience in TGC production.
Above average annual review score.
