Essential Job Functions:
· Monitor and process warranty claims specific to the individual customer processes per the established customer warranty agreements.
· Work closely with the appropriate engineering resources to analyse returned warranty parts to accurately adjudicate claims while collecting necessary data needed to assess and reduce our warranty costs.
· Analize warranty data trends, prepare various warranty reports and present to management as necessary.
· Monitor the PM and Calibration systems for gauges, torque tools and measurement instruments. Complete in-house gauge and tool validations. Coordinate with outside services to complete scheduled PM and calibration requirements.
· Complete daily process checks. Monitor data from assigned processes on an ongoing basis, note trends and work with Mfg. Engineering to problem solve issues. This included paint system checks, challenge parts, first and last piece signoffs and others as assigned.
· Assists in the analysis and processing of customer returns, supplier returns and internal non-conforming products and other quality information from assigned areas.
· Assist with internal quality audits (QMS, MPS’s, Product Audits, MSA’s) as directed by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Mfg. Engineer.
· Participates in continuous improvement programs and problem-solving activities.
· Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Requirements:
– One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Strong analytical and statistical aptitude, highly organized with high attention to detail.
· Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and IFS software.
– Must be 18 years or older.
– Pass pre-placement drug screen and physical.
