The Person We’re Looking For
Our Quality Assurance Analyst II plays an important role to help ensure our product releases are error-free while meeting the business requirements. This is a results-oriented, metric-driven, technical role focused on ensuring data integrity and functional performance of overall product and integrated customer facing systems. The role’s primary responsibility is to perform risk based functional, performance, and regression software testing within an evolving product development environment that is flexible based on delivery expectations and customer demand.
Expected Job Duties
Perform software testing of Core product and company initiatives
Meet regularly with product designers, developers, business owners and stakeholders to understand foundational business logic that drives product and process decisions
Document functional specifications for reference, future training, and process improvement purposes
Prepare non-production environments for current product release testing
Plan and communicate testing to interorganizational departments for regression and user acceptance purposes
Perform documentation and reconciliation of post-release validation process and results on an ongoing basis
Create test matrices for technical testing scenarios and store and reconcile for continued use
Support QA Analyst I members with mentorship and troubleshooting assistance
Perform job duties outside of normal business hours for scheduled release validation and on occasion as needed based on product delivery expectations
Required Qualifications
Advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing detailed information and performing risk assessment
Experience with Selenium or other test orchestration automation tools and methodologies including monitoring automated tests and/or reviewing results
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases with proven experience with creating and maintaining SQL queries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and highly organized, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage several work streams
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, Lean, and Agile
Flexibility and adaptability for growth and to learn new technologies and skills
Education, Training And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Technology or related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
2-5 years of experience in QA testing, auditing, or implementation of software solutions
On-Site, Buffalo, NY
Full-Time; Monday-Friday
