Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for identifying and improving the outcomes of warehousing and operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe working environment. They will establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems to measure and control quality in our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all quality assurance activities

Develop/Maintain ISO9001:2015 Standards

Lead the internal audit process, using risk-based strategy. Maintain ISO Auditor training to the required standard.

Maintain ISO Auditor training to the required standard.

Lead Customer audit process, as per customer requirements.

Facilitate Management Review meeting

Accountable for all Internal and Customer quality issues, Investigations and Corrective actions

Accountable for reviewing, controlling and distribution of all documents per ISO Standards

Creating and documenting new processes

Document any process changes in the change management system working with process owners

Accountable for collecting and reporting quality metrics for the site

Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Responsible for ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed

Develop, review and audit SOPs

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) programs or operations is also required

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
5 years’ supervisory experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment

Preferred Experience Requirements/Specific Skill-sets*:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years supervisory experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment

Desired Characteristics/Qualities*

Detailed oriented
Manufacturing Quality,
Six Sigma certification/training preferred but not essential (yellow, green, or black)
Deadline oriented
Has experience with SIPOC and scorecard (Develop/Maintain)
Process development
Demonstrate ability to work in a team and fast paced environment
Significant computer experience (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Familiar with warehouse management software
Strong analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Problem solving techniques.

Dealing with complexity
