About the Role:
Our Client is looking for a results-drivenQuality Assurance Analyst to join our Information Resources team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and integrity of IT systems and data. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes. This is a contract position based at our headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive testing of IT systems and applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
Identify, document, and track software defects.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with data modeling and storage best practices.
Provide regular reports on testing progress and outcomes.
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET), excluding state-recognized holidays.
Occasional work outside regular hours may be required.

Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
Technical Proficiency
:
Proficient in various testing tools and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Compliance Requirements:
Must pass a background check conducted by the Florida Lottery’s Division of Security.
Must sign a confidentiality statement.
Must sign Resume Self Certification.
Documentation:
Submit a resume with at least three professional references.
Desirable
Skills & Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills are preferred:
Experience working in government or regulated environments.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are a plus.
