Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to support our Water / Wastewater market, supporting project sites in Northern California.
Our Quality Control Manager would be boots on the ground in the field and work the duration of the project to ensure the construction is performed to the highest quality standards
Develop, implement, and manage the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Oversee subcontractor quality plans and ensure proper training and qualification of quality staff.
Conduct audits, inspections, and causal analysis to maintain high-quality standards.
Manage nonconformance reporting, subcontractor oversight, procurement quality, and commissioning activities.
Identify and mitigate project risks while promoting continuous improvement.
Maintain compliance with industry codes and standards (AASHTO, ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.).
Lead and mentor QA/QC personnel to reinforce best practices and a strong quality culture.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure expectations are met.
Ensure proper documentation and turnover of all quality-related records.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in a Quality Control Manager role with a contractor or company performing quality control services.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) for construction projects.
Experience managing teams, overseeing quality processes, and implementing corrective actions.
Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to teams.
ASQ CMQ/OE or similar certification is preferred.
Ability to work on-site for the duration of projects.
Pay: $130k – $160k/yr
