Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Assistant to assist in the management of the Company’s quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will work with other staff to make sure procedures adhere to established quality standards, maintain legal compliance, and satisfy customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain and edit Quality Manuals

Prepare for and attend audits and maintain auditing schedules

Implementation and maintenance of SOPs and quality initiatives

Prepare audit reports and perform follow-up to obtain resolutions that are compliant with regulations and satisfactory to all parties.

Maintain records of all internal audit activities.

Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design to ensure quality.

Recommend program improvements and/or corrections.

Maintain thorough knowledge of evolving quality assurance codes and standards.

Coordinate with associates to identify critical success factors, develop measurement systems, and implement continuous process improvement methodologies.

Maintain, enforce, and measure quality assurance processes.

Develop procedures used to verify programs function according to actual requirements and established guidelines.

Review and evaluate services to correct deficiencies and formulate improvements.

Review and document deviations, CAPAs, and nonconformances

Assist in performing audits of external vendors, contractors, and other relevant organizations as needed.

Assist with the planning and implementation of new programs, services, and projects; monitor progress and evaluate results; recommend changes or other action as appropriate

Reviews, analyzes, and implements technological changes to enhance performance and customer requirements.

Works collaboratively with customer support and other departments/teams on design, testability, and development of internal audits.

Interact and collaborate effectively with internal and external team members to assure needs of the company are met.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Previous Experience:

Two years related experience preferred but will consider equivalent informal education.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED
