Job Description: As a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant at H.B. Kaysons Ltd., you will play a vital role in ensuring in the conduction of quality control checks, implementing quality management processes, utilizing analytical skills to assess product quality, and maintaining clear communication channels regarding quality standards.
Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant:
Pre-operational and post-operational checks to ensure manufacturing practices adhere to SQF (Safe Quality Foods).
Coordinates all updates, reviews, changes to the foods safety and quality related programs accordingly.
Building and creating SOPs.
Schedules and conducts food safety and quality, health, and safety related training to all employees.
Maintains training records.
Preform other duties or projects as assigned by QA Manager.
Assisting in setup of daily tasks needed for each department to begin operations.
Various office tasks including data entry, photocopying, and printing documents.
Scheduling and planning for future operations adhering to SQF.
Requirements:
If student, then must be registered as a domestic student at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
Legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant regulations.
Graduate students (Master’s or PhD) are eligible.
Studying full-time or part-time in any field (food production, manufacturing, or related fields are a plus).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
