2. About the Opportunity:

The Quality Assurance Associate role contributes directly to maintaining and improving the quality of legal transcription services. This position is responsible for reviewing legal transcripts, providing assessment feedback, and supporting transcriptionists to ensure work meets established quality standards. The role is critical in upholding service excellence and supports the organization’s commitment to delivering accurate and reliable legal documentation.

3. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues and uphold organizational values

• Handle all communications professionally, timely, and courteously

• Communicate necessary information accurately and report incidents to management

• Adapt to change and continuously enhance job knowledge

• Take ownership of tasks and ensure resolution

• Support transcriptionists from post-scheduling through job completion

• Conduct quality assessments of transcriptionist outputs

• Prepare and deliver feedback for transcriptionists and reporters

• Serve as a level two knowledge resource regarding quality standards

• Follow established processes and service-level agreements

• Maintain alignment with the quality team on quality judgment and feedback methods

• Meet established production targets

• Track and report information as required

• Provide special transcription support as assigned

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years transcription experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in the legal field

• Minimum 2 years transcription quality assurance experience

• Experience providing written and verbal feedback

• Proficient proofreading and document editing skills

• Ability to manage legal transcript content according to standards

• Capable of managing multiple software applications simultaneously

• Effective and constructive feedback delivery skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications

• Typing speed of 60+ words per minute

• Strong written communication skills

• Advanced English grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills

• Service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

• Professionalism with prompt and accurate responses

• Strong detail retention and task processing abilities

• Ability to work independently while aligned with team goals

• Excellent hearing and ability to discern details and speakers in audio recordings

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
