About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps QA professional with 3+ years of experience in software testing within Agile and DevOps environments. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in manual and automated testing, proficiency in Azure DevOps, Selenium, and SQL Developer, and experience working with CI/CD pipelines. They should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Strong communication skills and familiarity with C#, Python, or Java for test automation are essential..
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate acceptance criteria and business requirements.
Review and analyze new or modified applications to ensure compliance with user stories/requirements.
Utilize Oracle SQL Developer to query test data for test case execution.
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium.
Ensure seamless integration testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Create and manage test evidence in Azure DevOps.
Report, triage, and collaborate on defect resolution with developers and stakeholders.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and document test results.
Work closely with DevOps teams to validate deployment strategies and testing automation.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of QA/testing experience in a DevOps or CI/CD environment.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps for test case management.
Experience in SQL query writing (Oracle SQL Developer).
Familiarity with C#, Python, or Java for automation.
Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Work Model:
Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Onsite reporting location and frequency may adjust based on business needs.
