Currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team!
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. In this role, you will play a key part in defining and executing testing strategies across the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, mobile, and API-based applications
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured
• Validate data accuracy and consistency by writing and executing basic SQL queries
• Manage and maintain test cases, test execution, and defect tracking using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM, Allure TestOps)
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Prepare and present clear, detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or Allure TestOps
• Experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured, or similar tools
• Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation
• Proven expertise in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases, test plans, and test reports
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment
Nice to Have (Optional)
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience testing cloud-based or microservices architectures
