Our client is seeking a mid-level Automation Engineer (~4-6 yrs) to play a critical role in the design, implementation, and validation of Automated Warehouse and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in a GMP environment. You will ensure that technologies and processes are running according to plan, have access to all tools, and collaborate with other work groups. As someone with a strong technical background, you will also help lead and shape the design of our automated solutions. This position will involve leading the development and testing of automation solutions, as well as managing commissioning and qualification (CQV) processes. The ideal candidate will hold the following experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation OR Robotics Engineering
* Pharmaceutical/GMP experience (2-5 yrs)
* Automation Experience (2-5 years)
* Working with 3rd party vendors to coordinate, schedule, manage, etc.
* Cross-functional collaboration with QA, CSV and Packaging/Manufacturing groups
Experience working with ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle) is a big plus.
