Role
We are looking for Senior QA Engineers with strong experience in automation testing for web applications and proven cloud expertise to join a high-impact project processing over 20 million transactions and generating millions of documents. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, optimizing performance, and guiding QA strategy as part of a fast-moving, high-volume system.
Responsibilities
- Understand the evolving application landscape to define what to test, when to test, and which edge cases must be covered.
- Drive regression and performance testing efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Make strategic QA decisions, prioritizing testing efforts and identifying risks.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and data engineers to design and execute effective test plans.
- Work with Snowflake and write complex queries to validate data and support testing efforts.
- Generate large volumes of test transactions and ensure quality in a high-scale environment.
- Combine manual testing with test automation to ensure thorough coverage and fast feedback cycles.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in performance testing, including identifying bottlenecks and ensuring system scalability.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Comfortable navigating the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Portal, Application Insights, and Containers; able to investigate and understand application-level errors and logs.
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and coding automated tests.
- Experience with Playwright is a plus, but candidates with Cypress or Puppeteer are welcome.
- Strong SQL skills: ability to write complex queries (Snowflake experience is a plus).
- Proven ability to set up, track, and analyze code quality metrics to continuously improve QA processes.
- Highly proactive and autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills in English — both written and verbal — with a clear, concise, and direct communication style.
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with performance testing, including identifying bottlenecks and ensuring system scalability.
- Experience with data testing in high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with C# is a plus.
