Position Overview
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance of enterprise applications used within sales environment for Trucks, Vans, and Storage Vehicles. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Quality Assurance
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
- Execute automated and manual testing activities.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Verify bug fixes and support release validation activities.
Continuous Improvement & Delivery
- Contribute to test automation strategy and best practices.
- Support CI/CD quality assurance processes.
- Improve test coverage and testing efficiency.
- Promote software quality standards across development teams.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Maintain testing documentation and quality reports.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Experience with automated software testing.
- Strong knowledge of Cypress or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience testing Angular-based web applications.
- Experience with REST API testing.
- Understanding of integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software quality practices.
Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
- Experience testing enterprise or business-critical applications.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Fluent English; German is considered an advantage.
