Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to foster a defect-free and injury-free workplace culture.
Act as a problem-solving authority, utilizing data to enhance decision-making and drive team focus.
Teach and apply quality improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies, 5S practices, and cause and effect analysis to elevate standards.
Implement safety measures, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Initiate and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) while maintaining communication with customers and suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement projects and lead cross-functional teams to enhance overall performance.
Mentor and develop team members in quality and safety practices.
Prepare and present in-depth reports on quality and safety metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards while keeping abreast of regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios.
Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in ergonomics with a solid understanding of quality management systems.
Read and interpret technical documents effectively.
Exhibit strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
Ability to coach and inspire team members for continuous improvement.
Education/
Experience:
A 4-year technical degree or 8+ years of practical experience in safety and quality management.
Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, and communication; occasional sitting and reaching. Adaptable adjustments are available for individuals with disabilities.
Work Environment: Regular exposure to moving mechanical components in a moderate noise level setting.
