As a global organisation committed to innovation and excellence, we are now investing further in our QA Compliance department and seeking a driven QA Compliance Manager to join our expanding team.
Position Summary
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a proven track record in product compliance and legislation? In this senior role, you will lead and develop our QA compliance function, ensuring adherence to UK & international safety standards. You’ll have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment and directly influence product quality and company growth.
The Role
Managing the QA compliance team
Following UK and European safety and quality legislations
Manufacturing environment
Monday to Friday flexible hours (between 7:00 am-6:00pm)
The Candidate
Solid people management and coaching experience
Experience of maintaining product technical files to comply with CE & UKCA marking directives
Good knowledge of the UKCA & CE marking directives and other relevant worldwide product legislation
Experience working with relevant quality standards including BRCGS and ISO 22716
A strong track record with regulatory and quality assurance
Supervise and support the quality control function
Manage, supervise, and support the QC team
Ensure QC team is briefed daily on current product quality, customer visits, rejections, performance, and operational issues
Manage and continue to upkeep the accreditation the Company holds
Establish training and development requirements for QC within agreed timeframes
Ensure the Company is complying with the required standards
Continuously communicate and liaise with Line Leaders and Management as required in day-to-day operations
Complete pre-start checks, quality checks, label control, and specified audits in order to ensure Company due diligence is being completed correctly and any non-compliances are recorded, actioned, and followed up
Conduct internal audits (including product traceability) against internal audit schedule and ensure corrective action is completed within a suitable timeframe
Required Qualifications & Experience
At least 3 years of experience within the personal care industry in a QC/compliance role
Experience working with relevant quality standards including BRCGS and ISO 22716
Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
Computer literate
