We are seeking an experienced and proactive QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities during the base build phase of a large-scale construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in alignment with ISO 9001, SEMI, and client-specific standards. This role requires coordination across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Establish and oversee Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all trades and systems.

Ensure quality assurance and quality control strategies are integrated into all phases of construction.

Manage QA/QC activities across CSA, MEP, and Process Systems, ensuring alignment with specifications and approved designs.

Coordinate with design teams, construction managers, subcontractors, and client reps to drive constructability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Supervise and mentor a team of QA/QC inspectors across various disciplines.

Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure all QA/QC personnel are trained and compliant with project procedures, documentation standards, and safety protocols.

Perform site audits and walkthroughs to verify field compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications.

Lead investigations for quality issues, including root cause analysis, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor construction activities to ensure delivery of right-first-time installations.

Review and approve QA/QC documents including Method Statements, Material Approval Requests, Test Reports, RFIs, and NCRs.

Maintain detailed and up-to-date logs for quality records, non-conformance tracking, and corrective actions.

Oversee QA/QC documentation handover, including test packs, redlines, and as-builts, ensuring readiness for system turnover.

Interface with commissioning and startup teams to ensure QA/QC activities are aligned with commissioning milestones.

Support system turnover processes and contribute to handover dossier compilation for client acceptance.

Serve as the primary liaison for QA/QC issues with client QA teams, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies.

Support and prepare for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

Analyze QA/QC performance metrics and lead improvement initiatives to reduce rework and prevent defects.

Champion a culture of quality and accountability across the project team and subcontractor base.

Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale construction projects (preferably data centers or mission-critical facilities).
Minimum 5 years of experience if you have related degree or QA/QC qualifications.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, civil/structural construction, and equipment installations.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, and IEC construction and quality standards.
Proven experience in implementing QA/QC plans and managing field-level ITPs and NCRs.
Certifications preferred: CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), PMP, or equivalent.
Proficient in QA/QC software, reporting platforms, and digital documentation tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience supporting commissioning phases and understanding of quality turnover requirements.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline preferred.
Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
