TITLE: Quality Control Inspector
ORGANIZATION UNIT: Evans Composites, Inc.
REPORTS TO: Quality Control Manager
SUPERVISES: None
STATUS: Regular Full-time, Non-Exempt
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for in-process inspections on civil and military aviation products in accordance with Evans Composites policies and procedures, manufacturer’s technical data, engineering design drawings, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other acceptable or approved data.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

Ensures proper inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by Evans Composites in complying with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and AS9110 Quality Management System.
Performs in-process of components using precision tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. Thoroughly audits work packages, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented.
Ensures that FAA required reports and maintenance records are complete and in compliance with directives.
Research aircraft drawings and technical data.
Assists in Inspecting incoming materials for workmanship, condition and conformity to standards.
Ensures rejected and unserviceable parts are handled in such a way as to prevent their reuse as serviceable parts until serviceability is restored.
Verifies that all precision tools and test equipment used for product acceptance are in calibration prior to use.
Assist QA with auditing shelf life, calibration, FOD program.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: NOTE: These requirements represent minimum levels in order to perform the job on a satisfactory basis. Candidates must have the ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of quality control / evaluation of corporate / commercial jet experience
You have the ability to use a variety of measuring tools
You have the ability to interpret/ process all relative (foreign & domestic) regulatory documents, actions and requirements
You have working knowledge of (FAA Regs, RSQCM, ADs, SBs, tech data, etc)
You have the ability to train, coach and mentor employees in performance of their duties in areas of qualification

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week with overtime
