Reports to: Quality Manager
Compensation: $75 – $85K CAD

Your Role:
As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure finished products and first article/PPAP packages meet customer and regulatory standards. You’ll play a key role in inspection, compliance, and continuous improvement, partnering across teams to drive quality performance and resolve issues.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain inspection methods, reports, and CMM programs
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
- Monitor incoming materials and finished goods to identify issues
- Perform dimensional inspections using appropriate tools and calibrated equipment
- Lead and support corrective action processes and quality investigations
- Compile PPAP and First Article submissions
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and identify improvement opportunities
- Support APQP activities and cross-functional project teams
- Train operators and inspectors on in-process and final inspections
- Contribute to process improvements and new product development efforts
What You’ll Bring:
- University degree and/or post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in a quality role within manufacturing
- Knowledge of SPC, quality systems, and auditing processes
- Experience with ASME standards (Sections VIII/IX welding required; familiarity with III preferred in N200 or N285 standards)
- Weld inspection to ASME or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints, perform FAIRs, and apply GD&T
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related systems
