Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation in line with ISO 9001 or project-specific standards.
Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with quality requirements.
Monitor and report on the performance of the quality management system (QMS).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality issues.
Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure QA requirements are understood and met.
Review and approve QA/QC documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Material Certificates.
Interface with clients and third-party inspectors regarding quality audits and inspections.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and training of junior QA/QC staff.
Ensure compliance with HSE and offshore safety requirements.
Required Competencies
Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles, preferably in the oil & gas, offshore, or heavy industrial sectors.
Valid BOSIET certification (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training).
CompEx and EEHA certificates.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API, ASME).
Experience with project QA/QC documentation, audits, and inspections.
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel offshore or to remote sites as required.
QUALIFICATION GUIDE
Education : Minimum ITE Nitec or any related courses
Communication : Able to communicate in (read, write, speak) English
Experience : Minimum 10 years of work experience in the same field
