We are representing a large well known utilities business who is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their Governance, Risk, Compliance & Quality team. This role is based in either of the company’s main offices at Heathrow or Central London.
You’ll support the Quality and Assurance Manager in ensuring that their construction projects comply with ISO 9001:2015 and UK CDM (2015) standards. You will provide competent quality management advice to promote compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 in the review, audit, certification, induction and management of procedures and processes in electrical infrastructure construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in quality management within construction, particularly in electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
Advise on ISO 9001:2015 quality standards during design, tender, and construction phases
Audit projects and suppliers to ensure compliance
Support Project Managers with quality documents and training
Track quality performance and lessons learned
Support external audits and certification processes
About you:
You will have worked within quality management/ assurance in a construction environment. You will have:
✅ HNC or equivalent in Quality, Engineering, Construction or similar
✅ ISO 9001:2015 auditing experience
✅ Experience in construction quality systems (not just inspection)
✅ Familiarity with CDM regulations (2015)
✅ Internal Auditor qualification
✅ Root cause analysis experience
✅ UK driving licence
