The Role
As a QA Engineer at Discovr AI, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and release confidence across our platform.
This role is heavily focused on Manual Testing, with exposure to Automation Testing and API validation. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and founders to test complex workflows, identify edge cases, and ensure high-quality product releases in a fast-moving environment.
You’ll be involved across the software development lifecycle, helping maintain quality standards while contributing toward scalable QA processes and automation practices.
This is an in-office role in Mumbai.
What you'll do
- Perform detailed manual testing across web platforms and workflows
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and QA documentation
- Conduct API testing and validations using Postman
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
- Validate complex workflows, edge cases, and regression scenarios
- Work closely with engineering and product teams during releases
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and QA sign-offs
- Support automation efforts and contribute toward scalable QA practices
- Ensure product quality across functional, usability, and workflow testing
What do we need
- 1–2 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing
- Good exposure to Automation Testing concepts/tools
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman and API testing
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience writing clear test cases and bug reports
- Understanding of regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Mumbai-based or open to immediate relocation
Bonus: Experience testing SaaS, workflow-heavy, or AI-enabled products.
