Fusebox Games are looking for a passionate Manual QA Engineer to join our team and work on our popular narrative mobile titles, including Love Island The Game 2.
We’re seeking individuals who not only love QA but are also eager to expand their knowledge into basic development processes, entry-level Unity, and Integration using our tools.
This is a remote role however, we are only accepting applications from the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing QA team and contribute to shaping our QA processes. While this role is primarily manual QA, there is room to learn and develop beyond traditional QA responsibilities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
– Conduct Functional, Exploratory, Regression, and Smoke testing.
– Plan, create, maintain, and execute test cases and test suites.
– Identify inefficiencies in processes and propose improvements.
– Maintain and update documentation in Confluence.
– Collaborate closely with production, development, and external QA teams.
– Track and manage issues using Jira/Trello/Favro.
– Communicate effectively with Art, Narrative, and Development teams.
– Test new game features and updates.
– Maintain and update QA tracking sheets.
What We’re Looking For:
– Experienced in QA Testing/Analysis/Engineering.
– Passion for QA and improving processes.
– Experience working in the mobile gaming industry, ideally on narrative-driven games.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Favro).
– Understanding of Mobile SDLC.
– Experience with Unity, iOS, and Android is a plus.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Interest in learning development processes, Unity basics, and tool integrations.
– Knowledge of Conditional Formatting, CI/CD, or SourceTree is nice to have.
Additional Requirements:
– Must be based in the UK.
– A genuine interest in Love Island and narrative mobile games, is highly preferred.
