Job Description:

Understand business requirements, system workflows, and project scope to ensure effective test coverage.
Design, create, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for web applications.
Perform end-to-end manual testing for both frontend and backend functionalities.
Validate APIs, database records, business rules, and system integrations.
Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts and test frameworks.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Analyze quality risks and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders and project teams.
Prepare testing artifacts including test plans, test reports, and test execution summaries.
Collaborate closely with QA, BA, Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to deliver high-quality products.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong experience in web application testing.
Solid experience in manual testing, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
Hands-on experience in frontend and backend testing, including API validation and database verification.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Java, Playwright, Rest API, or similar frameworks.
Strong knowledge of test case design techniques, defect management, and software testing methodologies.
Ability to create complex test scenarios, prepare test data, and perform end-to-end testing.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC/STLC).
Experience using tools such as JIRA, Postman, SQL, and Git.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
