We are looking for a talented QA engineer to join our team in the very early stages of building our product. This is an exciting time to join the company, as there will be a great degree of input to help shape the product to build a solution that can scale as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform manual testing when necessary to identify bugs and issues in early-stage development
- Collaborate with developers to understand the architecture and design of the software, ensuring testability of the code
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, and work with the development team to ensure they are resolved
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Continuously improve the testing process and automation framework to enhance efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a QA engineer, with a focus on automation testing
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software
Great to have/Desirables
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Familiarity with performance and security testing
- Experience with testing APIs and microservices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their setup
- Experience working in the E-Commerce sector
