Key responsibilities of a Quality Manager include:
Developing and Implementing Quality Standards: Establishing and maintaining quality standards that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Monitoring and Auditing: Conducting regular audits, inspections, and tests to monitor quality at different stages of production or service delivery.
Improving Processes: Identifying areas for process improvement, reducing waste, enhancing efficiency, and implementing corrective actions when issues arise.
Team Training: Training employees on quality standards and best practices to ensure the entire organization is committed to maintaining high quality.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of quality inspectors, engineers, and technicians.
Ensure the team is properly trained in quality standards and best practices.
Oversee the hiring, evaluation, and development of the quality team.
Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any quality-related issues or complaints from customers or stakeholders.
Reporting and Documentation: Keeping detailed records of quality tests, audits, and outcomes, and providing reports to senior management.
Supplier Management: Ensuring that materials and parts sourced from suppliers meet quality standards.

Quality control: 5 years (Required)
Quality systems: 3 years (Required)
ERP systems: 5 years (Required)
QA/QC: 5 years (Required)
Management experience required
Lean Six Sigma
ISO experience required preferably ISO9001.
ISO9001 audit certification would be a plus.
