Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications by leading end-to-end testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience in the Capital Market domain is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end software testing activities across multiple projects.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, API, and Database Testing.
- Validate software releases to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Coordinate testing activities with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects while ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and assess risks associated with software defects and releases.
- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, defect reports, and status updates for project stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure successful deployment of software releases.
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and quality standards.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices across the QA team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) – Mandatory.
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification – Preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Experience working in enterprise-level application environments.
- Experience in the Capital Market or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
