We are seeking a highly qualified senior health care professional to succeed the retiring Corporate Director of Quality Management. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced professional with a proven record of maintaining high standards of quality clinical and health care, prevention, and compliance, as well as excellence in related administrative processes and procedures. We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader who will guide continuous improvement and motivate innovation through the integration of policy management, workforce training, documentation, and auditing into a unified cycle of excellence. The selected candidate will be passionate about Bethel’s vision, mission and day-to-day work in service to seniors, their families, and the world around us.

This is a corporate executive position reporting directly to the CEO. As the Director of QM, you will have primary responsibility for quality in all aspects of Clinical, Health Care, and Preventative Senior Care Practices, while also improving the quality of all related administrative practices. The goal of the position is to establish a culture of continuous improvement through impeccable policy management, risk assessment, training and education, documentation, data management and auditing. As a member of our Executive Team, you will work in close collaboration with the Directors of clinical, health care and wellness departments, as well as corporate HR and Education, Site Administrators, and Documentation Managers. In addition to the senior team members, we will also expect you to become a respected, respectful, and trusted colleague to all levels of the Bethel workforce.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

· Leadership. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations; Proactively identify and mitigate risk issues; Champion a culture of continuous quality improvement and safety; Support staff as needed regarding quality, compliance, risk assessment, infection prevention, and Bethel’s response to Dept. Of Health surveys.

Compliance. Serve as Bethel’s Corporate Compliance Officer, Chair the Compliance Committee (a Staff committee that reports to the CEO and Board); oversee our Compliance hotline.

· Quality Management. Develop and manage a comprehensive QM Program; Ensure policies are accurate, complete, up-to-date, properly recorded, and accessible; Advise and support the Education Officer on training needs; Lead regular quality assurance and performance improvement activities; Analyze data to identify deficiencies and trends; Prepare plans of correction as needed; Implement effective corrective actions; Present data, findings, issues, and action to the Executive staff and the governing Board of Directors.

Risk Management. Gather and evaluate data and assess the degree to which our policies, procedures, processes, staffing pattern, training, and documentation are assuring minimal exposure and liability to problems.
Infection Control. Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive infection prevention and control program, including policy development, surveillance, and outbreak management.

Qualifications:

Required: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
Required: Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred but not required).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Demonstrated expertise and past experience in developing and leading infection prevention and control programs.
Long-Term Care facility experience preferred.
History of navigating complex regulations.
Proven record of excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the theory and practice of quality improvement methodologies to drive organizational transformation, change, and improvement.
Vision. Can express the purpose of the position and articulate the strategic direction and intended impact of the work undertaken by that role.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive total compensation package, including a starting salary of $150,000 per year and company-sponsored health insurance. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our 401k & 403b retirement plans. Our generous paid time off includes 4 weeks of paid vacation, 4 personal days, paid sick time and 8 paid holidays per year.
