We’re seeking a detail-driven and collaborative Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our expanding team in the consumer products industry. Based in São Paulo, this role is ideal for a QA professional who excels in manual testing, API validation, and front-end/back-end coordination, and wants to play a critical role in delivering high-quality, seamless digital experiences.
What You’ll Do:
🔍 Manual Testing & Validation
- Conduct comprehensive front-end (FE) validation to ensure UI/UX matches design specs and works across devices and browsers
- Perform back-end (BE) testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools to validate API response codes, payloads, and error handling
- Test data integrity between UI, APIs, and databases to ensure end-to-end accuracy
- Execute multiple testing types:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Exploratory Testing
📝 Test Case Development & Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and acceptance criteria (AC)
- Embed API contracts into test cases to ensure expected backend behavior
- Log and track defects with thorough reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Continuously refine test coverage in collaboration with developers and product managers
🤝 Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with developers, PMs, and stakeholders in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Communicate test results clearly and escalate high-priority defects
- Help define and evolve QA best practices, strategies, and tools for team-wide efficiency
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of QA experience in web or mobile application testing
- Strong manual testing skills across UI and API layers
- Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools for API validation
- Experience writing test cases with API contracts embedded in AC
- Knowledge of frontend/backend architecture, API flows, and data consistency validation
- Ability to work effectively in agile teams with strong communication and collaboration
- Bonus: Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting basics
