Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Introduction: The Laboratory Technician will work as part of Ronawk’s team to support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, sample preparation, data analysis, and other laboratory tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory samples and reagents according to established protocols.
Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination using a variety of histological techniques, including fixation, sectioning, staining, and mounting.
Operate laboratory equipment, including microtomes, cryostats, automated staining machines, electrophoresis, immunoblotting, microscopes, PCR, and plate reader.
Maintain laboratory equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Assist with laboratory safety and quality control procedures, including inventory management and waste disposal.
Perform basic data analysis and recordkeeping.
Participate in laboratory meetings and training sessions as required.
Job Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required, equivalent work experience, and/or proven certification from a core skills institute.
1-2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a research or industrial setting.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques, including but not limited to aseptic techniques, microscopy, cell culture, histology, ELISA, western blot, and PCR.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to safety and quality in laboratory operations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required, equivalent work experience, and/or
proven certification from a core skills institute.
Experience: 1-2 laboratory experience.
Location: On site.
Start Date: TBD
Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000, depending on experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
