Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00/hour (based on experience)

Contract Duration: W2 Contract, 12 Month Contract with possible extensions

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support product development and manufacturing operations in a highly regulated environment. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are met across new product development, process validation, and ongoing manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in quality systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance within medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support design control and process validation activities for new and existing products
  • Apply quality engineering tools including risk analysis, statistical analysis, and sampling plans
  • Develop and maintain risk management plans and quality strategies
  • Investigate quality issues and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Develop and validate test methods for product and process evaluation
  • Track and trend quality data, generating reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and improve process capability and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, cGMP, and quality system regulations
  • Contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or related field
  • 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience (medical device, pharma, or regulated industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ISO, FDA, and cGMP regulations
  • Experience with risk management, process validation, and statistical analysis
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems Regulations (QSR)
  • ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, CQM, or CRE)
  • Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or Process Excellence certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:

  • 100% onsite role in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain
  • Must follow all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 12-month W2 contract (with possible extensions)
  • Location: San Angelo, TX
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
  • Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
  • Note: W2 only – No C2C or C2H candidates will be considered
