Role Overview
We are seeking a highly committed and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to help us build and implement robust quality control (QC) systems for our cementitious admixture product line. This is a critical role that will shape the operational backbone of our commercial success.
In the first 6–12 months, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering Team to design and deploy standardized QC protocols across our global production sites.
Once these systems are in place, you will take ownership of expanding our QC capabilities, developing internal resources, and eventually leading the build-out of a full QA/QC department to support future product lines.
Your Responsibilities
Co-develop and implement QC protocols for our existing commercial product
Define specifications, acceptance criteria, and documentation practices for QC testing
Evaluate and validate existing QC infrastructure (equipment, procedures, personnel) across sites
Train site teams on proper sampling, testing, and data logging methods
Identify gaps in compliance or capability and propose solutions (tools, hires, external services)
Track and audit adherence to QC standards during product production and client deployment
Participate in root cause analysis for product performance deviations
Develop continuous improvement frameworks for QC procedures
Build systems to ensure scalability, traceability, and cross-site harmonization
After rollout, design and oversee the expansion of a company-wide QC function for new product lines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control in the chemical manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of lab-based QC techniques (e.g., solid content, pH, TGA, FTIR, particle size)
Experience in developing or enforcing quality management systems
Detail-oriented and highly structured in process documentation and audit practices
Comfortable working across production, R&D, and regulatory/compliance contexts
Fluent in English
Highly desirable Skills
Practical experience with ISO 9001
Practical experience using Python for data analysis
Knowledge of cement chemistry and concrete technology
Fluent in French
