Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2 years of experience in software testing. The role involves writing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that the software meets quality standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
Review product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop test cases and scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across various applications.
Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and enhancements.
Ensure timely execution of test cases and maintain high test quality.
Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Provide feedback on the user experience and suggest improvements for enhanced usability.
Skills and Qualifications
2 years of experience in testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in fast-paced environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Technical Expertise
Core Skills
Experience with debugging common issues, such as network latency, UI inconsistencies, and crash reports.
Network traffic analysis: Experience using Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or Wireshark for network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Postman for API testing and analyzing responses.
Familiarity with Xcode Instruments and TestFlight for iOS debugging and performance monitoring.
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with GenAI tools for testing automation, generating test cases, or analyzing large datasets of test results.
Crash log analysis: Ability to capture, analyze, and report crash logs using tools like Firebase Crashlytics, Xcode Console, and ADB (Android Debug Bridge).
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
Basic understanding of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
