This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be a visible and influential presence on the floor, helping drive compliance, coach teams, and ensure product integrity.
Job Title: QA Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Lead investigations into production deviations and consumer complaints, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.
Apply root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Gemba Walks, and Kaizen methodologies.
Draft and manage deviation reports, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Serve as a quality advocate on the floor, building relationships and coaching production staff.
Conduct audits to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and lab teams to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (food, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device).
Strong scientific writing and documentation skills.
Demonstrated experience leading deviation investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Familiarity with SAP and continuous improvement tools.
Ability to build strong working relationships and coach others effectively.
Work Environment
50% of time spent on the production floor.
50% in an office setting.
Compensation
Includes $4,800 annual shift premium, 8% target bonus, stock incentives, $1,500 sign-on bonus.
Relocation

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.21 – $35.58/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be specific to elections, plans, or program terms.
