About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards for our software products through comprehensive end-to-end testing.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Postman, Jenkins, and the Cucumber framework to manage and execute testing processes.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment processes.
Perform performance testing and validate the functionality of back-end APIs and front-end applications.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and application functionality.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in using Jira, Postman, Jenkins, and the Cucumber framework.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with performance testing.
Hands-on experience testing back-end APIs and front-end applications.
Familiarity with JavaScript and SQL.
Proven experience in testing APIs.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
