Project description
One of the leading Malaysian banks needs to continue software development work for web, mobile, APIs, database, integration, etc. The deliverables would include a web/mobile app with micro-services (Spring boot+Docker+Kubernetes) back end and MySQL database. There will be various integrations to the current sub-systems of the bank.
Responsibilities
-Work within an Agile team to deliver quality products as one team
-Identify test data required to complete the test activities.
-Understand the bank’s automation framework and drive the implementation of the same within the team.
-Successfully manage relationships with all stakeholders, vendors, and third parties.
-Report and escalate key risks and issues to management as needed.
-Accurate reporting on test status results and progress to all respective stakeholders.
-Effort Estimation and reporting on progress.
-Identifying Testing Risks and preparing Risk Mitigation Plans.
-Proactive attitude in learning new systems/methods and team dynamics
Skills
Must have
-We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with 4+ years of experience having a track record in delivering multiple concurrent, complex projects.
-Technical Requirements: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, and Postman
-Behaviour driven development (BDD)
-Solid knowledge in manual testing methodology and methods (decision table etc.)
-Hands-on experience on DB level and service level testing
-Working experience in both manual and automation testing, automation is optional
-Proven experience in the coordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment
-Proven skills in co-ordination and leadership working with vendors and internal teams
-Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community
Nice to have
-Experience in the financial services sector; especially wealth management.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Conduct test case preparation and execution manually and via automation
-Define and execute the Automation Test Strategy
-Prioritization of automation deliverables based on their ROI
-Create automated regression test scripts and conduct regular maintenance
-Perform regular regression runs and work with the DevOps team to build up the testing pipeline
-Java
-Cucumber/Appian testing framework, Gherkin test-case definition language
-Selenium Webdriver
-HTML5, DOM model, XML, XPATH
-Javascript
-Working experience on CI/CD and automation pipeline
