Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications and backend systems. This role involves designing and executing test plans, developing automated test frameworks, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Rejuve’s app and backend systems.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA).
Collaborate closely with developers and data scientists to understand features and resolve quality issues early in the development cycle.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Codemagic to increase efficiency and coverage.
Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security validation.
Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection standards during testing.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to Agile development cycles.
Provide feedback and insights on UX/UI improvements from a QA perspective.
Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and improvements.
Communicate with users when needed to collect feedback on bugs, issues, or usability concerns.
Respond to user-reported issues and ensure high-quality support and resolution.
Act as a voice of quality across the team, promoting a culture of excellence in testing and user experience.
Technical Skills
Previous experience working in cloud environment, preferably AWS
Basic knowledge about S3, Lambda, RDS and APIs usage
Experience using Swagger e/ou Postman
Basic knowledge of SQL language
Python and bash, basic knowledge
Proven experience implementing mobile and front-end automations
Requirements
Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role in a tech-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of AI testing tools.
Familiarity with mobile (iOS/Android) and web testing practices.
Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors clearly and efficiently.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Comfortable interacting with external users and addressing their technical concerns or feedback.
Proactive approach to improving testing processes and user satisfaction.
Interest in health tech, AI, and longevity is a plus.
