Position Overview
Our client, a major nonprofit healthcare provider, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support testing and release validation for internally developed applications. This role will focus on functional and integration testing, defect management, release readiness, and validation of AI-assisted development outputs.
Location: Remote (EST)
Job Type: 6-Month W2 Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Execute functional and integration testing for application releases.
- Validate AI-assisted code outputs against requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Document defects, support issue triage, and verify fixes.
- Capture and maintain test evidence for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support release readiness reviews and go-live sign-off.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, testing, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams throughout the release cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of QA experience supporting web-based and/or platform applications.
- Experience developing test plans and executing functional and integration testing.
- Knowledge of defect management and release validation processes.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate testing results and risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with API testing and integration validation.
- Experience testing data-intensive or AI/ML-enabled applications.
