Position Overview: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in software test automation and Selenium to ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical applications in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payments systems or merchandise/transaction platforms, combined with a solid background in QA methodologies and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for banking/financial applications.
- Validate payment processing workflows, merchandise transactions, and settlement systems for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure requirements are testable and delivered with quality.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Document defects, track resolutions, and ensure timely closure.
- Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- QA Automation experience in Banking/Financial Services applications.
- Strong domain knowledge in Payments (Cards, ACH, SWIFT, UPI, Wallets) or Merchandise/Transaction systems.
- Preferably banking domain with fraud experience , payments and merchant
- Expertise with Playwright, Java Script, Cucumber Framework , Selenium, and Automation using copilot
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Applied Knowledge of banking compliance standards (PCI DSS, ISO 8583, PSD2).
- Exposure to cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
