Position: Quality Assurance Engineer (CQE)
Qualification/Competency Criteria
At least Diploma. 10 years working experience, at least 5 years in manufacturing industry. Knowledge of HDD/Electronic and/or Medical/Pharma field will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Regular meeting/ visit and liaise with customers SQE on product quality and requirements.
Ensure Customer Spec, SOPs and Work Instructions governing criteria for work practices are prepared and available at the point of use and are followed.
To monitor and audit the effectiveness of PCP, SOPs and Work Instructions and ensure remedial actions are promptly taken.
To be lead for customer QMS/qualification/process audits, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, follow up audit CAPA till closure.
Work in house and with external lab and/or RM Suppliers to ensure statutory, regulatory and products cleanliness requirements are taken care of and follow-up.
Ensure that all Risk Analysis, non-conformance reports and customer feedback fully processed and corrective and preventive actions taken.
Monitor and keep track of RCA and CAPA related to customer feedbacks to ensure effectiveness
Regular sharing of SCAR status and follow-up actions on RTV.
Work with Operations and Technical team for process and product improvement activities.
Support customer-initiated project, work with respective project leader to provide regular update to the customer.
Assist in FA and New Sample Submissions when needed, coordinate and prepare SPQP/QMP/PSW/PPAP for product qualification.
Manage change control/PCN and review IQ/OQ/PQ for new process/machine validation.
To carry out the project management or ad-hoc projects as assigned by superior.
Ensure compliance to QMS, EHS and L&E procedures in the department
Required skill and competency:
Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Powepoint applications
A good understanding and application of SPC tools and Minitabs
Bilingual but good proficiency in English – Spoken & Written
Hands-on & self-driven personality requiring minimum supervision
Able to handle and manage stressful situations
