Job Description
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who is self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and cloud environments.
The individual will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating the bug fixes.
The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes and the related QA lifecycle, JIRA and scrum :
Design, Develop, Execute and analyze test cases & test results.
Estimate tests accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
Involve in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
Coordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements and shipment Skills :
Functional Testing, Blackbox Testing, Manual testing of web based applications.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive and test cases and bug reporting.
Understanding of Rest API testing with working knowledge in any one API testing tool.
Basic Knowledge of mysql, and NoSql and database concepts.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process in a distributed environment.
Experience in any project management tool like JIRA
Good communication skills.
Exposure to the financial domain would be preferred
