Quality Assurance Engineer III Jobs in Gainesville, TX at Safran
A Quality Engineer (QE) ensures that products meet the required standards and specifications.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Design and oversee quality control procedures and inspection systems to ensure products meet required specifications.
Perform routine quality inspections and audits to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Identify defects, determine their causes, and provide solutions to resolve quality-related problems.
Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare detailed quality reports.
Work closely with production, engineering, and support teams to integrate quality standards into all facets of production.
Conduct training sessions to promote quality awareness and compliance within the organization.
All other duties assigned.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Knowledge of ISO standards, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Experience: Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field is preferred.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to prepare reports and present findings.
Qualifications:
Degree in mechanical, industrial, or quality engineering preferred.
3 – 5 years of experience in an electrical manufacturing environment or related field.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
