About The Role
The Junior QA Engineer is responsible for supporting the testing of new features, identifying issues, and ensuring product releases are consistent, reliable, and of high quality. This role involves collaboration with product managers, developers, and designers, contributing to both manual and automated testing processes, and helping maintain a polished user experience. The position provides exposure to agile workflows and opportunities for skill development in software testing.
Management
Responsibilities
- Ensure software delivers high-quality, user-friendly, and consistent experiences.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to plan, test, and release new features.
- Work closely with engineers to perform concurrent testing during development.
- Support agile iterations by analyzing user stories and contributing to feature grooming.
- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document issues.
- Assist in creating and maintaining automated tests within a continuous integration environment.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
Requirements
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
- Minimum 1 year of cumulative software testing experience.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong attention to detail and passion for improving user experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Preferred Skills
- Prior testing experience in SaaS or web applications.
- Exposure to automated testing and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring SaaS products.
