Quality Assurance Engineer – Mechanical/Electromechanical Products (Orlando, FL)
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you willresearch, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4 days – 10-hour shifts weekly). This is an on-site role in Orlando, FL
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
Develop, modify, and apply control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Collaborates with quality, engineering, planning and manufacturing organizations to ensure quality standards are in place.
Develop, and implement/or improve current methods and procedures for producing and inspecting the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Requirements
Experience in inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment.
Specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, product evaluation and reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
A certificate in lean and Six Sigma quality engineering methodologies is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation: $30/hr. – $40/hr.
